Clinical and Forensic Psychological Evaluations can be complicated and labor-intensive. Depending on the type of evaluation, the entire process typically takes 15 to 30 hours, including a thorough record review, a comprehensive clinical interview, collateral interviews, test administration, test scoring & interpretation, and report writing. Each individual differs in the time they may take to complete psychological or forensic testing, and each case varies in terms of the volume of records required to review. Therefore, more complex evaluations can exceed 30 hours to complete. An estimate of the amount of time required to address your individual case will be discussed prior to the start of services.

For Psychological Testing: After an initial consultation, a non-refundable deposit of $750 is required to be submitted along with the Psychological Evaluation Service Agreement to secure a testing appointment. Half of the remaining balance ($2,250) will be due at the time of the testing appointment. Both payments and the Service Agreement must be submitted before testing. The other half of the balance ($2,250) will be due once the report is completed. In rare cases, if more time is required after exhaustion of the 15-hour service agreement, a follow-up phone consult will take place for a new time estimate and a new retainer. An invoice will be sent to the client and is due upon receipt. Failure to complete payment within 30 days will result in the cessation of work and/or cancellation of other scheduled appointments, pending account payment. Unused retainer balances will be returned as a credit.

For Forensic Services: After an initial consultation, a retainer of $5000 is required to be submitted along with the Forensic Service Agreement. Evaluations and/or consultation that may not yet require this block of time will be afforded a reduced retainer fee of $4000. Upon exhaustion of the service agreement, monthly invoices will be sent to the retaining party, and are due upon receipt. Failure to complete payment within 30 days will result in the cessation of work and/or cancellation of any scheduled appointments, pending account payment. Unused retainer balances are returned as a credit and must be reflected in all tax documents.

Cashier’s checks, money orders, cash, and all major credits are accepted forms of payment.

Regardless of the fees or referral source for any service, all conclusions and opinions will be offered in an objective, ethical, unbiased, and professional manner using a best practices approach. Therefore, the conclusions or opinions offered may not always support the desired or anticipated outcome by the retaining party. We welcome discussion regarding the conclusions of an evaluation to determine how you may wish to incorporate the findings in the context of your case.
